This Bunny Bait is the perfect Easter themed mash-up between salty and sweet. It’s super easy to make and loved by both kids and adults!

This adorable Bunny Bait is the perfect no-bake treat to make this Easter! It comes together in just 15 minutes, can be made in advance and is the best mash-up between salty and sweet. This delicious snack mix is full of white chocolate-covered Chex cereal, Cheerios, pretzels and M&Ms. It would make a great Easter basket gift or party food all throughout spring!
Ingredient Breakdown
M&Ms – I used pastel M&Ms to keep this snack mix on theme for spring/Easter.
Pretzel twists – adds some saltiness to the Bunny Bait! You can also use pretzel sticks.
Chex cereal – I used Rice Chex Cereal but you can use whichever flavor you prefer!
Cheerios – I used plain Cheerios since the M&Ms and white chocolate already add a lot of sweetness, but you can use whichever flavor you prefer!
White chocolate – holds everything together and adds sweetness. I love this brand.
Easter sprinkles – optional but adds a fun pop of color to the Bunny Bait!

Ingredient Substitutions/Additions
The possibilities are truly endless when it comes to making this Bunny Bait. Some delicious substitutions/additions to this recipe are:
- Nuts – peanuts, almonds, cashews, etc. would add some extra crunch/saltiness.
- Mini marshmallows
- Other kinds of cereal – swap out the Chex/Cheerios for other flavors or add Cap’n Crunch, Lucky Charms, etc.!
- Popcorn
- Cadbury Mini Eggs or M&M shaped Easter Eggs
How To Make Bunny Bait
1. In a large bowl, combine the M&Ms, pretzel twists, Chex cereal and Cheerios. Set aside.

2. Melt the white chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave.
3. Pour the melted white chocolate into the dry ingredients then mix until well combined.
4. Spread the mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet. If desired, top with sprinkles and extra M&Ms. Allow chocolate to set at room temperature or in the fridge. Break into pieces and enjoy! Store Bunny Bait in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

Pro Tips For Bunny Bait
- Weigh your ingredients using a kitchen scale! Measuring ingredients by volume is not accurate.
- Work quickly once the chocolate has melted to ensure that it doesn’t harden before you coat your mixture.
- Use high quality white chocolate! It will taste better and be easier to melt. I recommend Callebaut or Ghirardelli.
