INGREDIENTS

- All-purpose flour - Baking powder - Cinnamon - Salt - Buttermilk - Granulated sugar - Brown sugar - Butter - Eggs - Vanilla extract - Bananas - Confectioners' sugar - Milk

STEP 1

In a medium bowl combine the all-purpose flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Add melted butter and mix until well combined. Use clean hands to break into crumbs. Set aside.

In a small bowl combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

STEP 3

Cream the butter and sugar. Mix in the egg, vanilla extract and bananas. Fold in half of the dry ingredients then add all of the buttermilk. Fold in the remaining dry ingredients.

STEP 4

Pour the cake batter the prepared pan. Sprinkle on the crumb topping. Bake the crumb cake then drizzle with vanilla icing once cooled.
