These Valentine's Day Sugar Cookie Bars are easy to make, covered in a layer of pink vanilla buttercream and topped with heart shaped sprinkles!

INGREDIENTS

- All-purpose flour - Baking powder - Salt - Granulated sugar - Butter - Egg - Vanilla extract - Confectioners' sugar - Milk

STEP 1

In a small bowl whisk the all-purpose flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

STEP 2

Cream granulated sugar and softened butter until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract then mix until just combined.

STEP 3

Add the dry ingredients all at once and mix on low speed until almost combined then mix in the red, white and blue sprinkles. Press the sugar cookie dough into the prepared pan.

STEP 4

Bake cookie bars then let cool completely. Decorate with vanilla buttercream and Valentine's Day sprinkles as desired.
